How reliable is classic pallet securing tape?

Pallet securing bands are often used to secure cardboard goods, buckets or containers on pallets. They are usually applied horizontally – the strap is stretched around the pallet to prevent the load from slipping.

Typical materials are plastic or textile-reinforced straps. Clamps, buckles or manual tensioning devices are usually used for fastening.

However, this method has its drawbacks: reuse is rarely practical. It is time-consuming. Auxiliary materials are required. The tape is usually not elastic – it can slip when the load moves.

Advantages over traditional pallet securing strapping:

  • No clamping, no tensioning – ready for immediate use
  • significantly faster to use
  • No risk of injury from sharp edges
  • Saves material and time
    Stretchable and self-tensioning
  • Can be used without devices or closures
  • Ideal for changing pallet formats
  • Reusable & environmentally friendly

Safe. Simple. Better packaged.

Pallet securing doesn’t have to be complicated – just well thought out. Many conventional solutions are expensive, impractical or generate unnecessary waste. sanstrap® & Co. tackle precisely this problem: clever, efficient and flexible in use. For safe, fast processes and less packaging work.
